Our Egmont Key tour is tailored to showcase the rich history and natural beauty of this secluded island at the mouth of Tampa Bay, Florida. You’ll explore the ruins of Fort Dade, walk the cobblestone streets of an old village, encounter the locals (gopher tortoises and migratory birds), and check the Egmont Key lighthouse. Don't forget to check out the graveyard behind the park rangers cabin. Afterward, relax on the secluded beaches while picking up shells or jump into snorkeling opportunities over the remains of Battery Burchsted. Our comfortable, spacious boat ensures a luxurious Egmont Key boat trip, complete with onboard restroom.
Only 6 passengers can be taken on each adventure at a time. If your group has more than 6 people, contact us to discuss options for accommodating larger groups.
Our Egmont Key tour sets cruise from the Coquina Beach South boat ramp, conveniently located in Bradenton Beach. Our excursions are flexible from four to eight hours and can include spending time at Passage Key right next door.
Your knowledgeable captain will share fascinating information about the surrounding areas and the diverse wildlife you might encounter.
To ensure your comfort, we provide complimentary bottles of water, and a restroom is available onboard.
While we can’t guarantee sightings, there’s a good chance you might spot dolphins during the tour. Witnessing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat is truly a sight to behold!
